I've Gone Over The Edge.

Have I gone to the point of no return?
Did I really lose it this time?
When I look around this damp world, I hear the raindrops from the storm,
"Drip, drop, drip" as I do, I see the sun shine out from the clouds.
As bright as your smile, I thought that the storm was over.
Realizing this, I entrust that me and you would be okay.
But things change. Something comes up, life impacts the both of you.
Thinking that, "Why are we still stuck in the same place?"
Life has it's hardships and memorable moments.
Yet I stand here as I am, thinking that maybe one day you can find the right guy.
You want me to be the one for you, but I chose to let go.
For you, I am nothing but love.
Love changed me, love made me better, or worse.
Whatever it is, I've learned not to make those mistakes.
How about I do this?
I want to be friends. I should say that you'd probably laugh and say, "Are you kidding".
Maybe you'd say that, I don't know. I'm losing your voice in my mind.
The cold, damp world is falling apart. As I become a raindrop in the sky.
What was I thinking about. The choice.
The choice to be with you or to let you go.
I don't know if I should right now. But today, I think about it. And tomorrow I will think about it.
Until I can come back to you as person. I will be away.
From this bitter, damp, cold world.
